You Don't Have to Live with a Pain in the Derrière!
I am often asked can hemorrhoids bleed for weeks and why?
The answer is simply Yes.
Hemorrhoids can bleed for weeks at a time.
However other ailments such as colon cancer, diverticulitis, crohn's disease, polyps in the colon or rectum, and ulcerative colitis can also bleed for many weeks.
It is therefore imperative that you are absolutely certain that if you are bleeding for a long time, you actually are suffering from hemorrhoids bleeding and not from some other condition as mentioned above.
The reason that your hemorrhoids can carry on bleeding for weeks at a time is that you exert a huge amount of pressure on them every time you evacuate on the toilet. This added pressure bursts open the hemorrhoid and causes them to bleed.
The process is repeated every day or every time you evacuate.
Thus deteriorating the hemorrhoids further and further. They will also bleed more and more, and for longer and longer periods.
A good example that I can give you, for you to relate to what is happening with hemorrhoids that bleed for weeks, is the following:
It like having an open wound which you rub vigorously( this is the exerting pressure part on the hemorrhoid) on a daily basis, or that you continually scrape the wound on something every day.
You can now comprehend, that whatever antiseptic ointment you put on this wound, or whatever other treatments you do to this wound.
It will be virtually impossible for this wound to heal, because of the daily irritation you are
causing to this wound, by rubbing, or in the case of the hemorrhoids by evacuating the stools and putting pressure on them.
This same theory applies to hemorrhoids, but at an even worse level than the wound, because air tends to dry and heal open wounds naturally and with the position of where the hemorrhoids are (anus) it is a very hard area to breathe.
That is why it is very important that you learn the most important techniques on how to evacuate on the toilet properly, without adding any pressure whatsoever on the hemorrhoids.
Yes, unless you start applying this evacuation process daily, your hemorrhoids will not only stop bleeding, but they will actually heal, and never return.
This method of evacuation is very simple to do and it is very well explained in my Hemorrhoids E Book.
