extreme pain after the surgery, two months had passed im still in pain, i wonder when the pain is going away.

i had hemmorhoids surgery two months ago, right now im still in pain, i cant sleep at night. when is the pain going away, my dr. told me the would heal after a year ,the pain he is not sure of.
